Boy, it’s been awhile since I posted.  Since then, I’ve moved back to Kansas where job opportunities are more plentiful, interviewed for a job in Stillwater for Geek Squad, been sending resumes out the wazoo, and wondering why after only 10-11 hours awake I’m tired again.

And I haven’t touched my novel. I really want to get back to it, but it seems Sundays have been quite busy for me.

I just wanted to chime in and let you know that the first webisode in a new Star Wars fan film has been released called Rise of the Rebellion.  I did the dubbed ADR voice for the character of Gold 3.  ADR is short for automated dialogue recording in which the actor or another actor re-records the lines the character is speaking on-screen.  ADR can be done for a multitude of reasons, like additional scenes, a broken microphone on set, or background noise interfering with the recorded audio.  Rise of the Rebellion is a Turkish fan film with Turkish actors, but the director Can Akdağ wanted American and British accents for his characters to make his movie as close to the tone and style of the original Star Wars movies as possible.  So he cast me and several others to provide American and British voices for his actors.

The film is pleasing to the eye, although no real characters are introduced until about the end of this webisode.  Still, I think its worth a watch.  What is there is enough to make me interested enough to watch the second webisode when it is released next month.
